"10 Questions"

Our local paper runs a popular column called "10 Questions" that spotlights people who live in our community.

In addition to the usual inquiries about occupation and age, people are asked the questions that give a snapshot look of their personalities.

Recently one woman was asked, "What's the 'strangest' thing you ever bought?"

She answered, "Dog toothpaste."

Next question, "What is the 'most common' thing people say to you?"

Her answer: "How do you get your teeth so white?"

Leadership Class

The next class will be on Tuesday, March 9th at 7PM. Beginning on this date, we will be having our classes in the School Classroom. Remember, your homework for this class – “Write out, on a piece of paper, what Ministry you feel led to be a part of or what Ministry you wish to begin and lead.” For more information, contact Pastor Harry at 643-1260. NOTE: Pastor Harry has requested (not required) that all current and future leaders attend the current Bible Training Center class – “Blood Covenant” because he feels the knowledge of “Covenant” strengthens the core of everything, especially “vision.”

Kingdom Supply – “Authority”

Authority is two-fold, operating in both directions, up and down. For you to be in authority, you first have to be under authority.

“Upward” authority is the ‘biggy’ however, and means that you have submitted to the orders given to you and are willing to carry them out to the best of your ability. After all, you are representing the one over you with respect.

“Downward” authority means with the same respect you have received the orders, you give the orders to those who are under your authority.

To misrepresent authority means you expect understanding, longsuffering, compassion and kindness from those that are over you.

But, then again, we turn around and give the orders totally opposite from the way we receive it.

To walk in “true” Godly authority means to respond to those who are under you the way God responds to you.

“Princess Within” Ministry

Led by Pastor Jeanette

Pastor Jeanette is starting a class for young ladies, 13-18 years of age, called the “Princess Within” Ministry. The class will be held on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month. The Ministry reaches out to this age group in order to find out who they are in Christ, and to pour into them the confidence, knowledge, and encouragement needed in every part of their walk in life.
